Gross motor skills pertain to skills involving large muscle movements, such as independent sitting, crawling, walking, or running.
Fine motor skills involve use of smaller muscles, such as grasping, object manipulation, or drawing.
Day 2 of our character-building holiday program involved lots of playing in order to improve motor skills, both gross motor skills and finer motor skills. Everything that Children do at a young age has an influence on their future. Don’t underestimate the power of play!
